Craig Sandberg is the sole proprietor of the Law Offices of Craig M. Sandberg. The firm specializes in real estate and land use matters in many of the jurisdictions surrounding the greater Sacramento area, including El Dorado County, Sacramento County and City, Placer County and the City of Folsom. Mr.Sandberg works on a wide variety of legal matters relating to the use of real estate, ranging from the development and construction of major planned communities to mediating simple disputes between landowners over easements and access rights. He has negotiated financing plans and development agreements, on behalf of both public agencies and private entities, and has also participated in the creation of special districts and other tasks designed to obtain the approval of a project and to ensure the successful development of various projects.
Mr. Sandberg's experience in representing both public agencies and private interests has resulted in a depth of knowledge in the California Government Code regulation of land use, local governmental powers and the environmental process. Going beyond the local agency approval process, he has actively litigated CEQA and land use matters from the perspective of both local agencies and developers. Drawing from this experience he is able to provide practical advice to avoid litigation and, should avoidance be impossible, aid in a successful result.
In addition to the work associated with the real estate industry, government agencies and regulatory authorities, Mr. Sandberg provides services to clients in the preparation of contracts, purchase and sale agreements, leases, from the perspective of the landlord and the tenant, and the formation of business entities. Mr. Sandberg also reresents his clients in civil litigation and mediation/arbitration disputes. He takes a common sense approach to disputes and problem solving which results in positive results for his clients.
Mr. Sandberg graduated from the McGeorge School of Law in 1979 and has enjoyed over forty years of serving his clients.
